Mackenzie and Sebastian celebrated their breathtaking autumn wedding with an outdoor ceremony on the Bluestone Terrace and an elegant reception in The Pavilion, creating a day that was as beautiful as the sky above them. With sweeping views of the James River and vibrant florals surrounding them, their wedding perfectly captured the romance of a Virginia fall celebration.

The couple began their morning separately, getting ready with their closest friends and family. Anticipation filled the air as they counted down the moments until their first touch — an intimate exchange where they shared heartfelt vows without Sebastian yet seeing Mackenzie’s stunning wedding dress.

As guests arrived and took their seats on the Bluestone Terrace, the ceremony began with the uplifting sounds of a live cellist and violinist. The couple’s grandparents made their way down the aisle first, followed by Sebastian escorting his mother through lush seasonal florals. With the James River quietly meandering behind him, Sebastian took his place at the altar.

The wedding party joined him as the duet began playing To Make You Feel My Love. Mackenzie then made her entrance, escorted by her stepfather, her veil trailing gracefully behind her. In that unforgettable moment, Sebastian saw his bride for the first time, and the two were reunited at the altar.

After exchanging their vows and saying “I do,” they sealed their marriage with a joyful kiss as family and friends cheered in celebration. They arrived at the altar separately but left hand in hand, beginning their lifelong journey together.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a sun-soaked cocktail hour on the Upper Terrace and the Wedgewood Ballroom before gathering in The Pavilion for an elegant evening reception. The seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces created a warm and inviting atmosphere for dinner, cake cutting, and dancing.

Mackenzie and Sebastian shared their romantic first dance before dinner, setting the tone for a joyful night filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a delicious meal shared with loved ones.

As the evening drew to a close, the couple shared a private last dance — a quiet, meaningful moment together before rejoining their guests for a dazzling sparkler send-off under the autumn night sky.
