Katie and Matt celebrated their wedding on a stunning July day at The Estate at River Run, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their ceremony in the elegant Wedgewood Ballroom captured blended classic architecture with vibrant seasonal details.

The morning began in the estate’s light-filled bridal suite, where Katie got ready with her bridesmaids. The foyer below was adorned with lush greenery, as delicate vines and fresh clementines wrapped around the Estate’s iconic hand-carved banisters—an unforgettable detail that added a touch of Tuscan-inspired wedding design.

Meanwhile, Matt prepared alongside his groomsmen, carrying a meaningful personal detail—a handkerchief featuring Washington DC, a place close to his heart. As guests arrived at the estate, they enjoyed refreshments and took in the sweeping views of the James River, setting the tone for a romantic and relaxed celebration.

As the ceremony began, Matt stood at the altar in the Wedgewood Ballroom, framed by vibrant summer wedding florals in shades of orange, pink, blue, and white. When Katie entered, the space felt filled with warmth and anticipation. Surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged vows and took part in a symbolic unity candle ceremony, marking the beginning of their life together.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour at The Estate at River Run, while Katie and Matt shared a quiet, intimate moment together. The celebration then moved into the Tuscan Ballroom, beautifully styled with soft blue linens and complemented by their bright summer florals—creating a refined yet inviting reception space for a Virginia estate wedding.

After dinner and heartfelt moments with family and friends, the couple returned to the Wedgewood Ballroom for their first dance. The evening continued with a joyful celebration on the dance floor, ending a day that perfectly reflected the beauty and elegance of a luxury Richmond wedding venue.
