Chelsea and Shane celebrated their special day with a beautiful autumn ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. From getting ready to the sparkler send off at the end of the night, their day was woven together with love, laughter, and personal touches.

The morning began in the Primary Suite as Chelsea prepped for the day surrounded by her mother and bridal party. As the final touches came together, Chelsea slipped into her elegant wedding dress, which carried a deeply personal touch. In honor of her late father, a heart shaped piece from one of his shirts was sewn into the gown as a reminder that he was always there. The suite was filled with cheerful and tender moments, setting the perfect start to the day ahead.

Just across the property, Shane and his groomsmen gathered in the poolhouse - sharing laughs, playing poker, and toasting to the future ahead before stepping out to take photos together.

The ceremony took place on the Bluestone Terrance, centered by a wooden arbor handcrafted by Chelsea’s unlce and filled with stunning floral arrangements. Escorted by her brother, Chelsea walked down the isle, bouquet in hand - a photo charm tucked inside as another tribute to her father whom she carried with her throughout the day.

The cermony was breathtaking and heartfelt, reminising on the couple’s story, the sharing of vows, to the moment they became teammates for life. In one of the most sincere and moving moments of the day, the parents gathered around the couple in prayer, a touching reminder of the beginning of their next chapter together - one that was being built on a foundation of love and support from everyone around them. It was an unforgettable setting filled with tears and laughter on the perfect fall day in Virginia.

Cocktail hour took place surrounding the pool house encapsulating an open bar and and delicious hors d’oeuvres. Chelsea and Shane added a personal touch, incorporating “His and Hers” drinks featuring a Captain Jack and a Cosmopolitan, alongside a sweet picture of their beloved dogs, Oakley and Valley. With cocktail hour in full swing, the sun began to set, illuminating a beautiful sunset - one holding great significance for the couple.

Dinner took place in the Tuscan Ballroom illuminating a rustic atmosphere perfectly complementing their boho theme. As the speeches and toasts began, the room was quickly filled with cheers and laughter as friends and family shared their most cherished memories of Chelsea and Shane.

After wrapping up dinner, everyone moved into the Wedgewood Ballroom for the reception, where Chelsea and Shane shared their first dance. The energy on the dance floor was electric and even had a special guest - Chelsea’s mom surprised her with the JMU Duke Dog. It was the perfect touch and everyone jumped up cheering and dancing along.

Chelsea and Shane shared one last private dance together before being sent off with sparklers, surrounded by their loved ones. Their wedding was one for the books and filled with moments everyone will cherish forever.
